How To Find The Best Places To Buy Funny Tee Shirts

By Francis York

There is no denying that funny tees are a huge industry on the Internet. They are easy to make, inexpensive to buy, and make great gifts. People love their funny t-shirts and there are plenty of customers to share amongst the top sellers on the Web. The problem is that this seems to be common knowledge and every schmuck who thinks they can make a dollar online, seems to decide that the best way to do that is by making their own website. Here are a few descriptions of the various owners of these sites that you may find during your Internet wanderings.

The most obvious type that you'll notice are the sites that are run by huge companies that own dozens, if not hundreds of different websites. These sites are extremely professional, but tend to be a bit impersonal when it comes to dealing with customer complaints or problems. They also tend to only release funny tee shirts that are already popular on other sites, so you'll never really find anything new or inspired from them. Expect great quality, slow shipping, and low levels of customer support.

There are many, many people who are naive enough to believe that a business on the Internet is a failsafe way to make lots of cash. It is true that you have the advantage of low startup and overhead costs, but that does not ensure that you will get the traffic necessary to sell your funny t-shirts to the world. These business owners are usually young and don't have the dedication to work those extra hours and make the business venture work. These owners have no clue how much work will be required of them when they began, and they soon loose their drive to make it succeed in favor of beers and television.

Everyone has to start somewhere, though. There is a portion of these start-up Internet companies that will begin to grow. There is no luck involved in selling funny tee shirts on the Web. It takes lots of work and even more dedication. It takes late nights of marketing and early mornings of web design. It is difficult. A small portion of the lazy folks who thought starting the company would be easy will find the inner reserves of insight and strength, grit their teeth, and make it work. These are the best companies to deal with, because they will work extremely hard to retain return customers.

Just like anything else in the world, you also have businesses that sell funny tshirts that are just plain crap. You should be able to spot these websites merely by the level of their content. They will typically only be selling those very lame funny t-shirts that you can find in any flea market and the site will look like it was developed using GeoCities, or something comparable from the early 90's. Deny your inner redneck and stay well away from these places. Your shirts will be of a shoddy quality, it will take five angry emails to get them to ship, and you'll get no customer support once you get your shirts.

I could probably buy a house now and move out of my lame apartment if I still had all of the money I've spent on my funny shirts over the years. I have spent my cash at several different online stores, and I have certainly been burned a few times. I have learned from my mistakes and hope I have passed on a bit of that knowledge so that you can be a more informed consumer. No more lame funny t-shirts that fall apart in the wash!
