Use Of Speedlite Softbox In Photography

By Patrice McCoy

It is difficult to capture the picture that pleases every one present. When one uses the speedlite softbox one is assured of the fact that the light would not be too harsh. This may not seem like a matter to trouble anyone but in fact if the photograph were too brightly lit the subjects would appear sharp at the edges. While this may be all right in some outdoor snaps, it is seen as a mistake when the subjects are captured in full contrast.

One may see photography as a form of art, where there are the no limitations on the time and the space. Its the past time that has defied the borders and definitions of each participant as well as that of subjects and sometimes even transcends faith and commitments. Its after all true that anyone could have a picture about anyone that anyone could see at any time. One only needs to have the equipment and they are set to go.

One should use the correct equipment cameras and lighting that are wholly compatible with one another. The shutter settings and the lens sizes matter when the picture varies as when one is photographing a big group of say 35 persons. It is also the case when the subject is moving slowly or at great speed or when the background has some objects that reflect light.

The photos are creations of an illusion or representation of the kind of thing that the persons in the picture want to be. The magic happens because there are no rules of why and how. The people love photography and the man who photographs is the king. He creates and everybody follows. This is why many people take up photography.

Actually, the softbox is a cover for the lighting, a diffuser that spreads the light instead of directing the beam straight on the subject. Its the kind of magic that makes the picture perfect. The diffused light is focused using mirrors or surfaces that are polished or lined with some type of reflecting material. The size of a given device depends on the size of a picture that one wants to capture which in turn depends on the occasion.

Photographs and memories only exist as long as the occasion is happy or the persons are alive. If all the subjects vanish then the photographs start to lose their meaning. Photographers who are able to capture the moment and then pass on the message in their pictures are reckoned equal to the gods. They are making it possible for the people to be present in the time and emotion of their choosing. Living in the present becomes very enriched by all this.

The pictures that are taken is actually a representation of a particular moment, an aspect of the situation that the person finds themselves in. It is like the moment, which has passed. It is the way one thinks of being in another period without actual realization of the moment. This kind of leaning on the moment when something or some event occurs is the nostalgia.

The pictures become agreeable when one uses diffusers and the correct shutter speed. If one uses the speedlite softbox, the pictures are soft and warm. The subjects are pleasant and the moment becomes one, which everyone wants to share in. It is the aim of the photographer to keep the magic of the moment alive through his pictures.
