Brand new Bioshock Infinite & Halo 4 Trailers

By Jules Grimm

With Halo 4 around the corner, Microsoft released the brand new release trailer that had names like David Fincher & Tim Miller attached to its creation. David Fincher (Fight Club & The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) acted as the executive producer on the trailer, whilst skilled visual effects guy Tim Miller (Scott Pilgrim & The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) acted as director. This newest game in the franchise will be being hailed as the most anticipated video games of 2012, David & Tim took on a difficult job of showing all of us an emotional side to the favourite gaming icon, Master Chief.

With the usual fashion of the franchise's trailers, it is live action mixed with CGI.. really excellent CGI I might add, and shows what looks like to me, a few of the horrors Master Chief would really need to face to become the iconic legend he is today... or in the future for those who want to be pedantic about this. Don't miss that release, Halo 4 is released in November 2012 on the 6th of November 2012 & will certainly make the perfect Christmas gift for a friend.

On the other front, 2K Games is definitely releasing a lot of game play & trailer media lately for one of the most revered titles out there - Bioshock. The brand new instalment connected with the franchise, Bioshock:Infinite, will probably be taking adventure towards the skies rather than within the familiar underwater setting connected with the preceding video game titles & should really, if all goes right, be on the doorsteps early next year in March, contrary to the earlier announcement stating this would come out this October.

Creative Director of Irrational Games, Ken Levine explained in May: "When we reported the release date of Infinite within March, we felt pretty good with regards to the timing. Since then, we've uncovered opportunities to make Infinite into something even much more extraordinary. Therefore, to give our talented team the time they need to deliver the best BS:Infinite game possible, we've decided to move the game's release to February."

We will hold thumbs that they will be improving the video game as they stated, however then again, when have they let us down? Besides the undeniable fact that Infinite won around 75 awards from the E3 of 2011, many of us came to expect a certain standard of quality from Irrational Games and they appear to be on the path to delivering on that expectation.

Watching that "Beast of America" trailer, it's such an amazing contrast coming from the first game's narrow, dark and claustrophobic atmosphere towards the bright sunny open sky of Infinite. I wonder how the account will translate from the one to the next. I'll give them this, their artistic style is definitely captivating and the graphics will be top notch, if the story matches that, this would be a video game to remember.

BS:Infinite will be queued up for a 01 March 2013 release, if this doesn't get bumped back again...
